Sunset Maternity Photos

When my dear, sweet friend asked for some golden hour maternity photos, I about died from excitement... (Not to mention I knew she'd be a bombshell). Our plan A location turned out to be a loss, so we ended up at Back Bay in Newport Beach. Oohhh la la. I'm not mad about the results AT ALL. How GORGEOUS is this Mama to be?

Orange Circle Christmas Photos

The Circle at Orange in southern California is a great little old section of town with historic buildings, wonderful charm, and awesome photo backdrops. This couple wanted a little "urban" to their Christmas photos, and that's exactly what they got. How great is that red dress too? #NailedIt.

We all know there will never be enough days in the year to experience and see all the sights we wish to see. While I know the world is full of breathtakingly beautiful places, I'm rather partial to this one. People tend to favor mountains or tropics. We typically gravitate towards one or the other, but I can promise you it doesn't matter what your preference is, this place will take your breath away and remind you why it feels so damn good to be alive.

A Two Year Old's Shoot

This little guy is turning two.

Can't believe it's been a year since the last time we ran around, try to get smiles out of this tiny human. Where has the time gone?

Happy 2nd Birthday Logan. You cute lil thing, you.

College Senior Photos

I've had the pleasure of doing Krista's senior high school and now college grad photos.

We had an absolute ball making these memories, and I think it shows in her stunning pictures.

congratulations on finishing college with style Miss Krista. Wishing you the best for where ever the wind blows you after college.

Happy Graduation

Snowy Family Christmas Photos

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

The white flurries hit, and off to the mountains we went.

Cutest Christmas card photos ever!

Drasil Family Photos

I've known this family my entire life... so this was a pleasure - to say the least. We've been talking about this session for what feels like years... and the magic was finally able to happen.

I'm MORE than thrilled with the results.

Photos taken at Dogwood Park, in the San Bernardino Mountains, California.

O N E Year Old.

If this kid isn't the cutest thing in the world, I don't know what is.

Things I've learned with photographing babies and young kids:

  1. Always keep your eye in that viewfinder... you never know when the smile is going to crack or the funny face is going to come out.
  2. Squeaky toys and weird noises are a must have.
  3. Have lots of props... things to touch, play with... sit on... hold onto.

6 Months Flew By!

The tiny lil baby in the basket from October is 6 months old already....? Where has the time gone. He happened to be 6 months old right around Easter, so we had some fun with that. :)

He Has Finally Arrived

Life.... what a precious, beautiful thing.

Logan Robert Stoner was born on October 3, 2013 at 12:15am in Fountain Valley California. This precious baby boy was 7lbs 6oz and 19.5 inches long. Congratulations Mommy and Daddy.... Katie and Sean, I'm so happy for you both, and cannot wait to watch this lil one grow.

It's A Boy!

What a beautiful thing. My dear Katie and Sean... I wish you the best, as you embark on this journey of parenthood together.

I can't wait to meet your lil guy.

Family Letters

Letter-mans jackets that is. The 3 gorgeous kids of the Talbott family.

How precious are they? They all hold a very dear place in my heart, and were fun to shoot for their Mama's birthday present. I chose the best photo, had it blown up and framed, and needless to say... it was a hit! (We made Mama cry)

Crowder Family

As you can see, I have followed this family from engagement photos, to wedding pictures, to now, family portraits with their second lil girl now in the picture.

Well... don't think they are obsessed with me just yet... The little girls happen to be my nieces, and their father is my brother. I have had the sweet joy of capturing their favorite moments on camera. Grace (7) and Elizabeth (9 months) are so precious together it just makes my heart melt.

Photos taken (in order of appearance) Corona Del Mar State Beach, the hills of Redlands, and the San Bernardino mountains up on Keller Peak Road.

Senior Photos

Little miss Krista. What fun she is to do photo shoots with. Her spunky, goofy, care-free attitude is what anyone could want out of a subject. Although these pictures might be out of date now... (She was a senior in high school... now in her 3rd year of college) she will remain one of my favorites.

Photos taken... yes again, at Corona Del Mar State Beach, as well as Grass Valley Lake park in the San Bernardino Mountains.
